Exclusive Review
Thirty minutes south of Manchester is Ashbrook Towers Farm, quite simply the best B&B you will ever have the pleasure of staying at!
I am in the luxury travel industry, a female exec. who travels the length and breadth of the UK. I make it my mission to truffle, little country retreats that tick all my: safety, parking, tranquility, privacy, cleanliness,
space, comfort and value for money; boxes.
If the B&B is in acres of picturesque and verdent, wooly sheep-filled fields and is accessed by a tree-lined lane, I am pleased.
If it my accommodations for the night are a lovingly restored, period Coach House with massive, beam exposed suites, good fixtures, solid oak furnishings, comfy beds, crisp white and quality linens, fluffy scented towels and a corner jacuzzi bath, at £60 pppn, I am well impressed!
The owner, Anne Jones is an attentive and unobtrusive hostess who is genuinely concerned about your needs and comfort; and cooks a fresh, full English breakfast to perfection and serves it on pretty Royal Albert crockery, I believe it simply can't get any better than this? It did!
I spent most of the evening in the spacious guest lounge on a deep, weathered-leather lounge suite, warmed by the cosy heat radiating from a chimney and entertained by multiple SKY channels on a vast, 2 meter HD TV.
On a business trip... but felt like I had died and gone to heaven!
